As God’s word draws our hearts to Him, we may be faced with life chang­ing deci­sions, so the Holy Spir­it will make God’s word come alive in our hearts. What we learn often requires a per­son­al spir­i­tu­al response.

What mar­velous grace it is that God Him­self desires a per­son­al rela­tion­ship with us. Over two thou­sand years ago, The Son of God, Jesus Christ, died on the cru­el cross for our sin. The proof of His res­ur­rec­tion occurs when we receive Jesus Christ as our per­son­al Sav­ior, for He comes to live in our inner being, nev­er to leave nor for­sake us (Hebrews 13:5). We become a new cre­ation and now have a per­son­al rela­tion­ship with God Himself.

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become chil­dren of God, (John 1:12 ESV)

There­fore, if any­one is in Christ, he is a new cre­ation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.  (2 Corinthi­ans 5:17 NKJV)

As His child we find that an excit­ing new life has just begun.
