The Missionary Call

And He said to them, “Fol­low Me, and I will make you fish­ers of men.” (Matthew 4:19)
You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appoint­ed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that what­ev­er you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. (John 15:16)

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, say­ing, “All author­i­ty has been giv­en to Me in heav­en and on earth. Go there­fore and make dis­ci­ples of all the nations, bap­tiz­ing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spir­it, teach­ing them to observe all that I com­mand­ed you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18–20)

There­fore I urge you, brethren, by the mer­cies of God, to present your bod­ies a liv­ing and holy sac­ri­fice, accept­able to God, which is your spir­i­tu­al ser­vice of wor­ship. And do not be con­formed to this world, but be trans­formed by the renew­ing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and accept­able and per­fect. (Romans 12:1–2)
